League Eligibility & Boundaries

SMNLL Eligibility Requirements & Waivers

Spring Seasons

Children who are baseball age 4–7 may register for SMNLL, regardless of where they live or go to school. Children remain fully eligible for all league play, including tournament play, for as long as they continue playing with SMNLL.

Children baseball age 8 and older are eligible if they (1) live within SMNLL’s boundaries, (2) attend a school within SMNLL’s boundaries, or (3) have played with SMNLL continuously since age 7.

Exceptions for children 8 and older who don’t meet the requirements above:

“Grandfather” Waiver
If you currently live outside our boundaries but previously lived within them, and your child (or an older sibling) previously played in SMNLL, you may still be eligible. Complete and submit this form during registration.

Sibling Exception
Your child may also be eligible if a sibling is an active SMNLL player who is baseball age 7 or younger (registered under the age-based option above), or a sibling with continuous, unbroken participation in SMNLL since age 7.

Parents may use the Little League Finder tool to confirm whether a home or school address falls within SMNLL’s boundaries. You can also use the baseball age chart to determine your child’s baseball age.

If you live outside SMNLL’s boundaries but your child’s school is within them, complete this School Enrollment Form, have it signed by your school, and submit it during registration.

Wiffle Ball & T-Ball: These programs are for baseball ages 4–6, so any family can register regardless of home or school address. No form required.
