Our Seasons
Spring Season
The Spring Season runs from February through early June, and is recognized as the “Little League Season.” It’s our primary competitive season, featuring all seven divisions from Wiffle Ball through Juniors. Registration opens in September, with practices typically starting in February and games beginning the first weekend of March.
- Eligibility is based on baseball age, plus residency or school boundaries (for ages 8 and up). See League Eligibility for details.
- Players ages 9–12 (and 7–8 year olds who are interested in playing AA) complete a player evaluation each January, followed by a team draft. See Player Evaluations & Drafts for details.
- AA, PCL / AAA, and Majors divisions track league standings and include playoffs.
- Following the season, select players have the opportunity to compete on SMNLL’s All-Star and Superbowl teams.

Fall Season
Fall Ball runs from late August through mid-November, offering a fun, casual, and development focused baseball experience. Registration generally opens in May, with practices starting the last week of August and games beginning the weekend after Labor Day. There are no residency or school boundary requirements, no player evaluations, and no draft.
It’s a great way to prepare for the division a player will move into next Spring, get extra reps, and build experience with new pitching styles and field sizes, though it’s also common for younger players to repeat the same division. Buddy requests (playing with a friend) are welcome.
